Woke up this morning and read the rest of the thread, but had to check if I was reading the right one since it sounded almost exactly like the one from a few days ago. All the earmarks of a typical Yankee game this season--no hitting, Kahnle throwing almost all changes ups (which means there's no change-up at all), pure Boone-acy in bullpen use and, of course, the eventual loss. Going to a family re-union today so I'll probably not follow the game. Going to enjoy the mountains (where I belong) this weekend and avoid the frustration that is Yankee baseball. You guys see if you can pull them through, but if Stanton and Rizzo and at least one other don't start hitting, it's going to be a tough series-not to mention a tough rest of the season. Mountain lovers are the best kind of folks. We can’t move ‘em, but we go to ‘em. They draw us in, open up senses and feed our spirits. Enjoy your trip and forget about the Yanks for a day… they’re forgettable this year… Thanks, inger! |
