The team has plenty of needs but a leadoff hitter has to be near the top. Maybe it will be Volpe next season. They need a #3 & #4 hitter too.  |

Fortunately I was otherwise engaged last night and missed that latest exercise in futility. It's instructive how much easier it is to take a gut-punching loss when you only read about it afterward.
