I think he got caught there once… But, I didn't see it! Actually, I must have selective memory disease because he's actually been caught twice. Not sure at which base. I really thought that he had yet to be caught. I still wish he ran more often. I’m still hoping for him to get to about 35 SB. At the start of the season he looked like he could nab 60-70… |

Is it my imagination, or has Boone stopped using Abreu? Justifiably, yes. In July he’s pitched six times, allowing 7 runs and 8 hits in 6 innings. He’s only appeared in one game in which we’ve had a lead this month, the 8-4 win over the Orioles back in the 5th (I think)… I’d expect he may be a goner via DFA after Tuesday… if not before… |

Locastro is in AAA for the Mets, but was 4/4 SB for them while going 0 for 7 at the plate. Their demise is probably due to misusing and mismanaging Locastro. They coulda been contenders…
