I just can’t get the obsession with Bauers as our lead off man… neither fast nor consistent in getting in base. I guess Boone is hoping for a quick 1-0 lead…

I’d take a Volpe / IKF combo up top. Maybe make something happen. Get the starting pitcher under some early stress… Volpe is 19/2 stealing, IKF is 9/4 and can do better… Bader is 10/2, but for some reason he’s stopped walking completely… |
