I dunno how 3.5 up would be a "defined position" either still too close for comfort.

Not sure why that song jumped in my head. He did have a great voice. One of my best friends in the world was his bodyguard, chauffeur, and all-around arranger. Wow, didn't know that. I can't say he was on my radar, but my parents liked him. A good friend of Tom Jones if memory serves. You would know. All stories welcome during games like this. Or Monday's. Or Sunday's. Probably Tom Jones wingman, scooping up the leftovers…

I think if I had to do a karaoke bit, it would either be Tom Jones ("It's Not Unusual") or Engelbert or Billy Joel. I could fake my way through those. There were so many variety shows in the 1970s when I was a kid, and it seemed Jones, Humperdinck, or Robert Goulet was usually one of the guests.

I put the game on but I don't even care. It's hard to generate much enthusiasm for a sorry product like this.

I put the game on but I don't even care. Friday night's game in Baltimore where Cole pitched his heart out and the team screwed him over broke me for this season. I was ready to sell today.

I'm going "Surfin' Bird" by The Trashmen or "Transfusion" by Nervous Norvus. Always crowd pleasers.

Just more bad luck for the Yankee hitters according to the analytics guys.

Do you remember her as the prison secretary in the original "The Longest Yard"?
