I hope they get Kanhle and Warren back soon though because they have been basically playing with a 5/6 man bullpen for a couple of weeks now. They have played so many tough and tight games during this stretch that they have been really riding the "big arms" quite a bit. Hale and Cole are on the roster but never get the ball (not that any of us really want them to). Dont want these guys to hit a wall in September...Warren and Kanhle allows Boonie to spread the ball around a little bit more. You're right. With the winnng streak and Boone not trusting Hale and Cole, guys like Green, Robertson and Chapman are gettting a lot of work. We need to balance the pen workload. |

The starting pitching has largely been great during this streak though which helps alleviate the burden on the pen somewhat but with the way teams are structured these days, cant go through a long stretch leaning on only the same few guys. |
