Just being realistic I never expected this team to sweep this series the ceiling was always 3 out of 4, but I would have liked them to win the first 2 since the Verlander start is always a tough one that if they win that one it's usually not till after he's gone. They had their chances in this one having 8 hits and 3 walks just didn't get the home runs with people on base and got robbed out of at least 5 runs with that catch in the first inning. I feel like in the last week or two they've been in more games and havent had any of those games where they looked like they would never score since the 1-0 loss in Baltimore. Stanton looks like he's back. Judge has been close on some balls I think he's going to get some HR soon. Volpe still with a lot of bad luck. Gleyber looks off lately. They have games left in the nightmare stretch and are 3-5 so far win the last 2 and they'll be 5-5 in it which I guess is ok since it looked like they could go 0-10 when it started. I think they are still in a good position just hope there isn't too many of these stupid Judge rest days coming up. I'll take one of the next two to stay afloat. Can't lose both. Afterwards maybe we can make a run.

White Sox should be able to win that series with how depleted that team is now and I know Atlanta and Miami are on the "better" team side, but the Yankees always seem to play well in both teams home stadiums so I do think there could be some wins coming up.

If I look idiotic for saying this so be it, but I do think the team in the week Judge has been back does not look as lifeless and I believe even in the losses they've had the tying run come up to the plate in most of them which was NOT happening before this last week or so.

The guy said he feels like the worst pitcher in the league. His confidence is obviously shot. And they still keep throwing him out there. Terrible management.

Yea I don't get it I'll take Brito's so-so starts and see what Vasquez has over that. I think Severino is at Phil Hughes 2008 right now, but Hughes went to the bullpen and figured it out in 2009 so I think Severino might need to do the same.

I feel sorry for him that management keeps starting him. I bet this is his last one. He's not a bad guy and it must be killing him. I'll always feel fondly for him because I was at Yankee Stadium when he made his first start.

I do think the team with Judge has shown more life they are 3-5 since he came back, but they've had a lot of baserunners and even in the two he didn't play we didn't see the lifeless play that we were seeing for 2 months. The tying run has come to the plate more than usual and I don't think it's a coincidence that once Judge was guaranteed to be active roster all of a sudden Stantons power has returned. Obviously 2 of the losses are when he didn't play, but both of those were Severino starts and they did have over 10 baserunners in both so they had their chances. Just need to not get behind so much early and I think they can start racking up the wins if they can stop giving up the early runs. Least I have less of a feeling if they get slightly behind they can't catch up, but obv 1-0 is diff than 4-0 or 5-0.

If Oakland had an eight game winning streak and KC had one of 6 games, this squad should be able to pull something like that off. If they do and a couple other teams ahead of them are in the dumps that week, then they’re back in this thing… On the one good side, I got a good-size swath of weeds pulled yesterday, and only got ticked when I was trying to find the game in Apple and when I saw that Sevy got clicked for the first inning 3-run bomb. I’ve been behind the 🎱 with these weeds this year since the heat/mosquito season started, and now I’m almost all caught up. We were told by the previous owners that weeds didn’t grow much here, but it was an unusually wet spring, and they DID grow here. Of course I could tell when those people were lying… their mouths were moving. We’ve come a long way toward making the place a home. Just chipping away day by day…
