They just said on the White Sox broadcast that tonight was the 11th time this season that their pitchers have struck out at least 14 hitters in a game. They're 0-10 in those games and about to be 0-11.

Why wear out King? Pitch someone else. Pure Boone-acy! In his defense, some pitchers have a point of no return. If you go 2, might as well go 3 cause you're done the next day anyway. |

Why are they so bad in first games of series?? If we could solve that mystery (along with several more) we’d k ow why we’re out of the playoffs unless we turn in the after burners. Personally, I don’t think we have the horses to do it. I know. Mathematics and all that. Head to heads. But the engine we have doesn’t burn jet fuel… |
