Yankees tech would lose 2 games in the standings today if Seattle wins they are 5 up in the loss on them while Toronto is only 3. I can see them catching Toronto but if Seattle keeps this up (who has 13 left with kc and oak!) it's going to be hard with no head to head.

This is crazy the AL East could have all 5 teams over .500 but only 2 make the playoffs and it's the two with the lowest payroll.

This years team is weaker than the 2016 team that was the weakest in 20 or so years previous. Just a bunch of mental midgets that have no leader. The manager of both are also similar in that they both should be in a broadcasting booth rather than than the Yankee dugout. Hal has to make some major changes this off season or I will put him into the same boat. This was supposed to be a championship possible season and turned into the most disappointing in a long time. Every decision from the end of last year to now has been a dumpster fire and not worked out. I would rather them either buyout or cut some dead weight and struggle for a couple years with young guys than have high expectations again and lay a giant turd like these guys have.

time to get a new GM. When you are this bad and have this much money it's time to rethink your strategy. And cashman never does. This year when hitting was desperately needed he bought a pitcher (I think Judge was a mistake as well given his age and health, but I know that is heresy).  Already the longest streak between WS I think and we are not even close to going back. |

I wish someone would explain why Brito could not start this game. By definition, he's a starter for Pete's sake! The only morsel of hope I have is that the intention is to stretch King out and get him used to a starter’s routine… I’m reaching here, because he still could have followed Brito this time as he (King) only had a 45 pitch limit… |
