I wish someone would explain why Brito could not start this game. By definition, he's a starter for Pete's sake! The only morsel of hope I have is that the intention is to stretch King out and get him used to a starter’s routine… I’m reaching here, because he still could have followed Brito this time as he (King) only had a 45 pitch limit… There's talk of starting King again on Tuesday, with just two days rest and then using Severino out of the pen like they did with Brito. |

Getting to the play offs would not be good. It would convince them they don't have a problem I don't think it matters either way. They haven't had a full team since May and last time they had a full team they were 18-9 in their last 27, 10 games over .500, and securely in a wildcard spot. Since then you had Judge out for 2 months, Rizzo playing with a concussion, and a bunch of pitching injuries. They'll chalk it all to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
