They called that an error on Turner but the Volpe play was hit. I don't get it.

I believe I started at after the angels sweep rizz that's prob why you have more losses in your count. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm just looking at the record in last month. They stopped winning series, giving up runs in the first inning and constantly playing from behind, which will lead to a 33.3% winning percentage with this offense.

Was it a bunt and run? If not, why was Stanton going before the ball hit the ground? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks anthony. That's so bad on so many levels. Little League coaches could use that as a teaching moment, but they probably already teach that stuff.

Yankees being no-hit through three innings, so things are normal. The Yankees are one of the only teams that opponents never think of using an opener, as they rarely score in the first inning.

Yanks should be able to score today with this line-up. Bottom third is hitting over .450.
If you add all their averages together

Man, I could not agree with Cone more about Cole using his curveball early and then away late in the count. Keep the fastball in or up. Case in point, Cole with an 0-2 count throws a fastball low and away that backs up over the plate, leading to a single.

Another scrub takes Cole deep.

Another fastball low and away that leaks over the middle of the plate. Cole is so hardheaded about that pitch. Two-run homer. 6-0 Red Sox.

This team has had such a weird trajectory.. they went from.. winning a bunch of series that mostly were losing the first game to.. being 10 games over .500 to going on an 18-9 run before the Judge injury, to playing roughly .500 baseball, to going into win a couple lose a couple, to now just completely broken. It's crazy, because with this kind of inconsistency they should be like 15 games out, but the thing is the Red Sox and Blue Jays have been such medicore as well and didn't pull away. However, the Mariners who were even MORE inconsistent (50-50 after 100 games) were 2 games (and 5.5 behind TOR) behind the Yankees on JULY 29TH!!!! which is THREE WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! are now SEVEN GAMES ahead of the Yankees and might just win this WC pulling away. Just a complete misread by the front office at the trade deadline. The Mainers TRADED PLAYERS AWAY INCLUDED THEIR STARTING CLOSER and it got them better. The Yankees DID NOTHING!!! The deficit the Yankees were behind at 3.5 games was recoverable. The mariners recovered from worse!

I really believe that this team would be much better with Cone as the pitching coach and O'Neill as the batting coach. Fundamentals first.

Stanton watches a 95 mph fastball in the middle of the plate with two strikes. My goodness, how backwards is his thinking. He is now Chris Davis.

Stanton looked terrible in his AB. So did IKF.
