Seriously. I think Devers was patting himself in the back because the Red Sox are better than what everyone thought. Yeah, you're not even in a playoff spot right now. I think the 3rd wildcard was a little too much...it pretty much makes mediocre teams think they are good then gives a free pass to face the central team who is usually not good in the first round. |

The fact the 59-66 Padres, and 58-66 Mets are within 6 games in the NL is just insane...
I do see they added the second you had the 89-73 Yankees miss the playoffs in 08, but teams under .500 and have been that way for a while still in it this late?

Also waters down the playoffs. and I'm saying this as a Yankee fan when realistically their only way in is the third wildcard and even if they pulled off the miracle why are they awarded the Twins when the Rays have a record of 10 games better. |

They could care less about watering down the playoffs. |
