Agreed. And it leads to less sellers at the deadline. Also waters down the playoffs. and I'm saying this as a Yankee fan when realistically their only way in is the third wildcard and even if they pulled off the miracle why are they awarded the Twins when the Rays have a record of 10 games better. I don't like it at all. |

Agreed. And it leads to less sellers at the deadline. Also waters down the playoffs. It's all about extra playoff money for these greedy owners. They could care less about watering down the playoffs. The new schedule affects this too since teams can't pull away as much cause of less bottom of division beatdowns. ALE 2.5, ALC 5, ALW 2.5, ALC 3.0. 3/4 through the season and 4 of the 6 divisions are still super close. Also don't understand how the Yankees and Orioles can be "done" with each other already with this many games left. |

You are the last seed in the playoff you should have to play the best of the ones eligible for you to play which would be the Rays out of the 3 wildcard team and central winner. |
