That was the year the Yankees decided to be more of a speed team with guys like Dave Collins and less power, with Reggie moving on to the Angels. Yep. And the start of the longest World Series drought until now. I remember the Yanks adding Steve Kemp and Ken Griffey Sr. too. Kemp seemed liked a good idea at the time, but it just didn't work out. |
