I don't know what's going on with the NYG, their DC Don "Wink" Martindale resigned. I wonder if the NYG are going to clean house and maybe hire Belichick. Back where it all started with him and Parcells.  |

I like Mike Tomlin. But I'm interested in what a Steelers fan thinks of him. |

I like Mike Tomlin. But I'm interested in what a Steelers fan thinks of him. Overall Tomlin's tenure has been a success but it's time for a change. They haven't won a playoff game in years and in their last five playoff games have been outscored by an absurd 66-0 in the first quarter which tells me the team wasn't prepared at all. The team is stuck in that middle of the road rut where they aren't bad enough to get a high draft pick they need to make a difference and aren't good enough to beat the elite teams in the league. Throw in the bad losses to the worst teams in the league, like New England and Arizona this year, which have become routine and the mismanaged QB situation and it's just time for a new voice to lead this team. But of course, it's not going to happen because the Steelers haven't fired a head coach in over 50 years. Tomlin will probably get an extension any day now. |

Giants hire Shane Bowen as their Defensive Coordinator. If you can't get Vrabel, it makes sense to get someone in his tree. He's also from Daboll's generation and may get along with him better than Wink. |

Vrabel would have been an excellent hire. But, I agree with what you said about Bowen.
