Yankees are much better hitters with a competent home plate umpire calling balls and strikes. I may eat these words later, but so far he hasn't made any real mistake. |

We really need Peraza to start hitting so have him and Volpe in the starting infield next season. Peraza has such a good swing, certainly better than a .452 OPS. Had he gotten all of Josh Donaldson's at bats this season, he may be coming into his own right now. Should be a spot open now with Donaldson gone but I still stand that he is nowhere near Gleyber offensively and starting Peraza over Gleyber is a mistake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Schmidt finally looks like he's having fun playing baseball. Much more relaxed than the beginning of the year. The Big Leagues take an adjustment period, most of which is between the ears..."90% of this game is half mental."
