We have to get better offensively next year. I honestly don't understand how a team that spends this much money can be this bad in that regard.

That was so bad. Just a fundamental lack of concentration; something he seems to be guilty of far too often. In the past I’ve often referred to his “uncharged errors”. Looking at that play, though he never touched the ball, how is that a hit? And to top it off it costs us two runs, currently the losing runs. That’s why there are times I want to dump his ass so bad, and I wouldn’t care if he was hitting .350 with 70 HR… |
