we should just release Stanton. We would have to pay his salary, but at least we could get a decent player. How could he possibly be so bad If we released every sub-.200 hitter on the squad, we'd not be able to field a team. |

That was nice. So few come from behind wins this year. 11 hits, even some timely hits.

That was so bad. Just a fundamental lack of concentration; something he seems to be guilty of far too often. In the past I’ve often referred to his “uncharged errors”. Looking at that play, though he never touched the ball, how is that a hit? And to top it off it costs us two runs, currently the losing runs. That’s why there are times I want to dump his ass so bad, and I wouldn’t care if he was hitting .350 with 70 HR… I'm kinda there, too. I'd say just DH him, but then what do we do with Crush Davis, err, Stanton and his bloated salary/arse? |

He’s taken advantage of the prospect movement more than the prospects have. He’s back in the picture. And since he’s multi-positional, that’s a great thing. I’m most impressed that he’s become so much more selective at the plate… |
