We would have been better off signing Kiermaier than trading for Harrison Bader. I see he just went back on the IL for the third time this season. All we have left is the one boot he walked in on. Cost us Monty, a home grown, serviceable left-hander. |

Florial had four RBI in six games, then in the sixth game, he's lifted for IKF to face a lefty reliever, even though Waldo batted left-handed against the same reliever, because he was harder on righties. It's either one or the other, Boone. You can't have it both ways.

We would have been better off signing Kiermaier than trading for Harrison Bader. I agree of course, but it’s revisionist history as Kiermaier didn’t look at all the same vim 2022… 88 OPS+, .281 OBP.. he was difficult to want bay that point. Kudos to the Jays… |

That team was 10 games under .500, going 76-86. Their problem was dreadful pitching. At least they could hit a little -- a team BA of .268 and OPS+ of 106. They may gave been slightly worse overall than this squad, but this is definitely the worst Yankee team since then. |
