I think it happened in the early 60's, so it wasn't the twin towers. Just looked it up - you were right about not being the NY Towers: "...on March 22, 1978, the world watched in horror as Karl Wallenda fell to his death. As he attempted to walk across a high wire strung between the two towers of the Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the 73-year-old Wallenda lost his balance, teetering on the wire for 30 heart-stopping seconds before plummeting 10 stories." I'll never forget the feeling of dreadfulness and emptiness watching it happen. This is the one I thought you were talking about. www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2014/11/03/wallendas-fatal-fall-detroit-circus/18405583/

Peraza with a poor feed to Volpe that dooms the double play.

Terrible play in the outfield by Waldo, turning a single into a triple. I noticed last year that he was quite fortunate to grab the ball on some of his outfield dives. That left him with fielding g ratings that could have taken a wild and nasty swing if he had missed some of them… Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good…

I wasn’t home much… I was looking for something else… Before your gravel, rock, and stone fascination focused your mind.

Hope arrives in the form of the Royals bullpen… I’m surprised they pulled Grienke…

Another game going 5 innings without a run. We have to lead the league in that dubious category.

Hope arrives in the form of the Royals bullpen… I’m surprised they pulled Grienke… I think they wanted him to go out on a high note - possibly his last game.

Eight hits in four innings for King. His one bad outing as a starter. Second consecutive day our starter allows 8 hits in 4 innings… Better than Friday night.

Off the wall double for Wells. Second hit of the day. Has his OPS over .700 after a very slow start.
