Our pitching depth is indeed gutted. And, I don't look for Nestor to stay healthy - I would have been fine if he was included in the trade to keep one of the guys we let go, like Vasquez or Brito or Thorpe. Taking Grisham and his salary is just annoying. |

And, I don't look for Nestor to stay healthy - I would have been fine if he was included in the trade to keep one of the guys we let go, like Vasquez or Brito or Thorpe. Taking Grisham and his salary is just annoying. I was really hoping they could keep King, but the Padres aren't blind, they saw his performance down the stretch this season. And Brito looked great coming out of the pen late last season, almost like he could have nice future as a reliever. The Yankees did keep guys like Warren and Hampton and they might need them in 2024. |
