Welcome vtfan!  I hope Ben Rice can be an option at 1st if Rizzo is not recovered from his concussion issues. There have been several reports that Rizzo is feeling good and no longer has symptoms. Hope that is the case and he returns to form but considering how the Yanks have handled and reported on injuries it's ok to be a bit skeptical. Yanks reports on injuries = Bigfoot evidence… |

They also need to convert Ben Rice into a first baseman. Or maybe convert Wells to 1B to make room for Rice to catch… I think they should get both Wells and Rice some time behind the plate and at 1st base. It would be a huge advanatge having 3 catchers 2 of whom are LH on the roster. Rortvedt is also lefty but not the answer offensively |
