Tom Tango’s weighted on base average (wOBA) may be the single most accurate measure of offensive performance, eclipsing OPS. The only issue I have is that the formula has remained a bit liquid as it has not yet been perfected. If Trout could ever stay healthy (yeah big if) and the Angels take some of the money that they won' be spending on Othani and use it wisely to invest in some new players, it's not that far fetched that they could contend for a Wild Card spot. There is some talent on that roster.
