And, that makes me miss George even more. What am I talking about, you may ask? Well, if Hal really was "cheap," then why does he not blast his highest paid players in the papers more frequently? He could have kept that money for himself. If there was any way George did care about money, he hated paying players who did not produce.
is Hal using the "spend money to make money" scheme? ls that why he never gets angry at underachieving Yankees?

I've not seen Hal call out individual players but I have seen him call them out collectively. It seems to me he's been dissapointed with the Teams performance the past several seasons but has defended both Cash and Boone. I'm sure Hal doesn't appreciate paying players who underperform but it is part of today's game with guaranteed contracts.

Hal spends money but its usually on short term deals . He does it to sell tickets . For example : there is no way they bring back more than one out of , torres, verdujo and soto . And soto is likely just a one year rental to sell tickets . I bet he is even counting on cole to opt out

Stanton was a trade , judge was just keeping a homegrown takent , rodon was a result of cashman royally screwing up the rotation the previous deadline . Cole was another result of cashman failing to out together a good enough rotation , dj was traded for and then re-signed and hicks is only costing 10 mill a year .

Yet every one of them, with the exception of Stanton, was signed to a "long-term" deal by Cashman.

I am answering your inquiries . Not my fault my answers dont meet your expectations Think you've got your posters mixed up...but it's actually kinda fun watching you desperately dance around trying to rationalize what seems to be an impulsive, blatantly false statement you've previously made.
