OF/1B - Dan Pasqua, 1985-87 Put up a very solid .293/.399/.525/.924 Slash as the starting LF for most of the second half of the season in 1986. Began 1987 in LF, but a slow start relegated him to part-time duty and he was shipped off to the ChiSox shortly after the season in a multi-player trade that brought Richard Dotson and Scott Nielsen to the Bronx.

Still has a major league career because he can mash left handed pitching.

OF -Lance Johnson, 2000 Was a pretty solid leadoff hitter for the White Sox and Mets in the early-mid 90's, leading the league in triples five times and accumulated 227 hits for the Mets in 1996. Had an 18 game cup of coffee in the Bronx in 2000 mainly as a pinch hitter to finish his career. Side story: Growing up in NE Ohio, we went to a lot of Indians games in the 80's and 90's. One game in 1993 the Tribe was playing the White Sox. My friend and I were in the bleachers just above the bullpen in old Cleveland Muni Stadium (its last year before Jacobs Field opened) and Lance tossed a ball to each of us as he was completing warm ups. Was always a fan after that.

I have seen many a MLB game and have seen many fast MLB players in person. I don't know what the stats say, but in my opinion he was the fastest MLB player I have ever seen in person. He was on 1B, I don't remember what Yankee hit a ball into the gap. But I do remember how fast Sanders ran the bases and crossing home-plate. I remember just saying...WOW!
