Let's start it off with this nonsense I expect Judge to have a big year as long as no walls attack him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Is this Evan Roberts? He hates the Yankees from what I remember. Haven't listened to WFAN in many years.

And the Mick would have had ACL surgery, and after some rehab, would have been as good as new. Think of all the pain he wouldn't have had to go through. A good drying out would have helped him, too… Poor Mickey. He never really grew up until the cancer. He manned up though and tried to make himself an example for kids. I loved him with all of his warts. Still do, too. I can’t help myself… Great story about how Bobby Richardson on many occasions tried to explain to Mickey his need for Jesus. Mickey politely told Bobby he wasn't interested. Then when Mickey knew his time was short, he called Bobby and asked Him to come talk to him. Mickey finally understood his need and accepted Jesus!

After two losses, we need some positive vibes.

we pretty much shut ohtani down. not a criticism but he has a pretty big swing.
no one's had an answer for judge who's on one of the greatest all-time runs. could we be seeing a 2nd mvp season (should be a 3rd). feel privileged to be watching him. and everything else is so good - clubhouse, media, outside stuff. can not ask for more out of your star player.
and his clubhouse response to grisham's HR said it all. was unhappy about the soto "chants" and i'm sure he wasn't thinking "ARRGGH" when grisham stepped to the plate in that situation. was pulling for and believed in him.

I understand Judge standing up for his teammate but if not for Grisham's HR the guy would be batting under.050 and nothing more than a warm body in CF. Grisham and Stanton together is a below average play taking up 2 spots.

Grisham and Stanton together is a below average play taking up 2 spots. Grisham isn’t great, but elite defense and occasional power ate two good tools. After being a regular for four years, it can be easy coming off the bench as infrequently as he has. Would I be happy with a scenario where we trade both him and Stanton and can bring up Rice and Jason? You bet I would. Will it happen? I’d bet against it, but I’m hoping…

I just need to see what kind of arm he has. I cannot recall a play in which he has aired one out to a base or home.

I've honestly seen only a very few plays Grisham has made in the OF and never ever heard of his in SD. I would rather see any of the kids up in the majors playing over Stanton or Grisham BUT if they aren't getting regular playing time it's a waste.

I cannot recall a play in which he has aired one out to a base or home. Bader got to the ball and made the plays, but never looked liked the athletic CF we usually think of. Kinda the way I see Volpe at SS...makes the plays, but doesn't look to me like an elite SS. Grisham glides to the ball, but I also notice he often nonchalants the plays much as Gleyber occasionally does...albeit with better results.

And, Judge makes all the plays that he should make. Except that ball that fell between he and Soto, neither wanting to run into the other. Kind of like when Mantle slowed up not wanting to run into Joe DiMaggio, which caused Mantle to step into that outfield drain, ripping up his knee. And the Mick would have had ACL surgery, and after some rehab, would have been as good as new. Think of all the pain he wouldn't have had to go through. Joe was selfish on the 1951 World Series outfield play at Yankee Stadium that got Mickey Mantle, hurt Yankees Catcher Yogi Berra said the was Mickey's Ball all the way.
