We also have no idea how Soto is going to do in NY ... He might hate NY and if he doesnt live up to expectations NY might hate him and his dbag agent.

I've read the same criticisms of Juan Soto that you make of Gleyber Torres. Maybe but torres isnt the hitter that soto is . And they arent re signing both . How do you know?

A more annoying voice than Suzyn Waldman's...sounds like an SNL or Seinfeld parody...

What does that have to do with signing them? Everyone knows what kind of players they are and everyone knows that they are free agents. Signing 1 has nothing to do with the other.

I don't have a problem with Judge beginning the season in centerfield. Judge was exclusively a centerfielder except for about three games in his college career. He has also stated that he prefers to play centerfield, feeling more comfortable there. Having said that, Judge is a serviceable centerfielder, but he is a Gold Glove caliber right fielder. We have to remember that if the Yankees are content on one thing, it is rest. Lots of it, even when players are not tired and in the midst of a hot streak. Also, late in games, I expect to see Grisham in center and Judge moved to right for defensive purposes. Judge in centerfield, I expect to be temporary.

The voice of a woman with multiple divorces. More amazing that she had multiple marriages… “Fastah Chahlie, I’m about to arrive.”…

Yeah really, it can mean so many things, like he needs a day off now and then, or therapy before or after a game, etc. Judge had his best year playing CF, it's not like the Yankees are asking him to be a linebacker for the NY Giants.
I think you seriously underestimatie the amount of running a center fielder does I've read studies that put it at as much as 5 miles per game with dozens of short bursts, sudden stops and turns. With all due respect to football linebackers, few are still active at age 32, none are as big as Judge, none plays back to back days and none has a guaranteed contract for $360 M. If Cashman thought Judge was a true center rielder, therer was no reason for him locking up Aaron Hicls in Feb of 2019.
5 miles per game? That sounds like a lot. Are you sure about that? Who was pitching that a CFer was moving around that much? There are short bursts and sudden stops and turns in LF and RF too. Judge missed the most time while he was playing RF. Sorry Pat, but I don't see it as a big deal if Judge has to play CF for 1/2-1 season.

5 miles? Must include running back and forth from the dugout to field every inning and a couple trips to the concession stand…

Even if they were counting the time a CF goes back and forth from the dugout to his position in the outfield, I don't think it would be 5 miles.
