I sent a letter to Cashman asking if he’s considered having Judge cloned and start breeding the clones so we can have him at all positions in future generations. He must be quite busy because I haven’t received a reply yet. There has been a dark sedan following me around and parking in my driveway at night, though… I worry about the wear and tear on the Judge clone that will play catcher. A 6'7" 270 lb player squatting and standing 130 times prer game would be the equivalent of running 8 miles each game. I have no science on the 8 miles number, but it sounds good. Make a mini-me for a catcher… if that works out we’ll make some more to play up the middle positions and add team speed. Do it, Cashman! …

Soon, we'll be hearing this music again!
Always at the top of the charts in this house. At least in the male polling… And Ruthie knows it means “NO TV for YOU”… as the TV Nazi takes over…

This is what happens when I catch an early sleep window. I went to bed at about 10:00, fell asleep in a reasonable amount of time, but woke up at 2:00… I’ll probably crash again some time in the next 2-4 hours…

While Ben Rice is in major league camp, I hope he gets more than the one at bat at the end of the game. Give him some starts.

For a pro athlete that should be a stressless mile over a 2-3 hour game. It's not like the OFers are doing back and forth sprints.
I am sure it is unless the guy is managing plantar fasciatis or an injured toe. But it is just a small part of what an outfielder in center does. Again, I'll put more stock into Bernie Williams' opinions on this than that of a fan.
That's your prerogative. Bernie has is opinion, and I don't remember saying that CF wasn't more demanding that RF, but in my opinion, there's not that much of a difference. Bernie also didn't DH much. I'm pretty sure the Yankees have a plan for Judge that will help him if there is any extra wear and tear he might get playing CF, since it was already made public that his toe is going to need maintenance. I'm pretty sure that Judge knows himself better than Bernie knows him. With that said, neither Judge nor the Yankees seem to be worried about him playing CF.

That sounds a lot like being worried about the wear and tear on a player, of which running would be a part of. Judge is an elite RFer, ARod was once an elite Shortstop. The roster right now with JD on the IL is what it is. I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't expect Judge to be the Yankees full time CFer past this season or even this season when JD comes of the IR. That's why, in my opinion, it seems to be much ado about nothing. I'm pretty sure that Judge would get the rest he needs between days off and DHing.
OK...then I "worry" about the additional wear & tear Judge will be subjected to playing CF. But yeah...the problem is getting Judge, Soto & Stanton in the everyday lineup as the roster is currently constructed. You've got 3 guys whose "natural" position is RF. I'm sure Yanks don't see Judge as their permanent CF, but when Dominguez returns there will be even more of a challenge getting all 4 bats in the lineup.
Judge and the Yankees don't seem worried about it. The challenge of getting those 4 bats into the lineup is a good problem for the Yankees. The Yankees don't need to rush JD. Depending how all those players are hitting, that challenge is nothing that a trade can't solve.

I hope you are right. IMO Judge is concerned and that led to his candid response. He could have just said the toe is fine and left it at that. I read his "joke" about being moved to CF because he go hurt so often in RF as a poke at the FO. I have zero confidence in the Yankee medical / training staff.
