Loaisiga and Holmes finally make an appearance today, knocking off some rust in a game situation. Nellie said something interesting a game ago, suggesting that relievers arrive two weeks after starters, since they do not need to build up innings.
It looks like Stroman had some struggles with three walks and seven hits in 4.1 innings. Only three hits for the Yankees and just one against five Detroit relievers. Yankees weren't exactly the starting nine for opening day, though.

For 2 months, instead of overpaying or making any panic trades/signings the Yankees are better off going with either Gil, Beeter, or Warren. |
