Three Questions:
1. Would you trade for Machado and WHY?
2. If NOT, why?
3. Who would you trade for Machado?
Tequila states, that she would trade Didi, Chance, Gardner and/or Cash's Guy plus some $$$ and draft picks for Machado. If the O's needed more Icing on the Cake she would throw in Bet too.
Why? Tequila says, we would have Machado at SS, Andujar at 3B, Torres at 2B and Bird at 1B. Plus Machado can also play 3B and we would have Drury and Toe as INF Back-Up.
No, I didn't argue/debate with Tequila about the above...she is in a Foul Mood, ever since a Poster recently Blamed Us for the Yankees' Losing Streak; she is very sensitive, go figure.
Your thoughts?

Poor Tequila. She's a smart parrot, but she is a parrot, so she's never been in charge of a baseball team or rebuilt one. The Orioles have fallen on hard times. They'll have NO interest in Didi, Gardner, Cashman's Guy. They might like a deal that includes Chance Adams, but they would more likely want Torres and Florial as the headliners to make a deal. They'll be looking to rebuild that sorry team. In all likelihood, Chance won't be the pitcher they want, either. There are questions as to whether his stuff will transfer to MLB success, so they'll likely want someone with a higher ceiling, and of course that someone is a current MiLB pitcher who is highly thought of in our organization...even higher than Adams.
So that is the real question. Do you send that kind of young talent to the Orioles to rent Machado? No. You let someone else dump their farm on Baltimore and you wait for Machado the free agent...that is...if you want him at all with the price tag that will be attached. Since he appears to be on his way to one of his best seasons...perhaps his best...expect someone to overpay to sign him. I think the Yankees have enough talent on the roster to pass on the temperamental Machado...
Tequila should enjoy watching baseball, and stick to that and what she does best, which is just being a beautiful bird that spoils her owner...

The price for Baltimore to send Machado to their biggest rival would be extraordinary.

Machado is uber talented, but he strikes me as something of a headcase. I'd rather obtain two front-line starting pitchers for what Machado may want in salary.
