Mike Trout doubles over the head of Stanton to give the Angels a 1-0 lead. Sonny above 20 pitches already, having trouble commanding the fastball. He did have a good curve ball and a generous strike zone from the home plate umpire.

Bird at first base. He's not Mattingly or Keith Hernandez, but there is a definite difference in watching Greg Bird navigate defensively around the bag.
