Holmes is so inconsistent.A one run lead is a nail biting event.  Been this was since Mo retired. Chapman was no picnic either. I will be one happy Yankee fan if Holmes proves me wrong. And, I know that the Yankees bullpen held leads better than all but 2 teams last season. But I wish the Yankees would trade for a Closer and make Holmes the 7th or 8th inning pitcher. |

In my opinion, Soto, because he got a big hit and also bailed out Holmes. Lots of honorable mentions though...Volpe, Verdugo, Cabrera.

I'm trying to get my garage remodel completed so I didn't see much of the game. I appreciate the commentary, gives me a good feel for how the game played out. Sounds like it was a great team win. BP bent but didn't break. Cortez had a rough start but settled in and gave us a little length. Sounds like Torres had a rough day.

What a bunch of short-sited buffoons. Its all about the money! These huge player payrolls have to be paid and they will find a way to make us pay! Streaming has opened the flood gates! They want us to sign up for every streaming service that buys the games! I just got rid of Amazon prime because they are adding commercials or you pay more! I cut the cord! As far as the game on steroids flying by in a few hours with all those silly rule changes, I still watch but I hate it. I'm old school! Baseball will never be the NBA or the NFL when it comes to action! Its sad what they have done to the game I once loved! Now I tolerate it!  |
