Caratini bounces the 2nd sinker to Rizzo to end the inning.

20 pitches for Stroman in the 2nd, 32 through 2. His command isn't good so far and left that sinker too much over the plate to tie up Dubon.
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 3rd: Torres, Soto, Judge.

Judge comes up as the tying run.
Cutter outside at the knees, 1-0
Curve stays thigh high in the middle, but Judge is early, bounces it foul off 3rd, 1-1
And blows a 96 FB by him above middle, the curve slowed his bat down, good sequencing there to take advantage
FB in fouled off, still 1-2
Same pitch, same result.
Yanks were 3rd in the AL in BB last year, Smoltz. BB were not the problem. Batting .227 as a team was the problem.
Fouls off a curve, take a splitter low, then golfa a sinker at the knees inside middle on a line to center for a hit, Soto stops at 2nd with 1 out.
