Slider on the ouside corner, maybe, 0-1. Vanover K zone getting bigger. For Nelson anyway.
Slider gets a tiny piece of the corner, called strike 2. Verdugo a bit annoyed, drops his head on that call.
FB way high, 1-2
Slider in the middle, but Verdugo hits it off the end of the bat to Suarez who throws him out, 2 down.

D'backs go to old friend Miguel Castro. He was the D'backs closer for about 7 minutes last season, but lost the job quickly. He's never been good in high leverage for any team he's been on.
But he is usually good in low leverage. Like now.
FB 96-97, about half the time, Slider 81-2 about 41% of the time, Change 93, about 8% of the time.

Not sure if Wells thought it hit something when it was foul, or didn't know the rules.
