Rizzo ranged too far, as that grounder would have gone right to Gleyber. Rizzo must have been thinking that the runner on third was going home and he was going to erase that run. I would have taken the out for the run at this point. Rizzo gets occasional brain farts, but they’re usually on the bases…He likes trying to make surprise plays… |
