Rodon threw just 10 in his 3rd, and starts the 4th at 42 pitches.

Angels pounded the marlins in Miami 10-2, and the Marlins are now 0-7, all the losses at home, too. Terrible way to start a season.
Walker takes the 1st pitch high.
Then a backdoor slider in the zone low/away, 1-1
FB just above and outside the zone, 2-1
Chases the FB above 3 inches above the zone, in the middle, fouled back, 2-2
Slider down and in, but stayed in the zone, where Walker could spoil.
FB above the zone at 97. 3-2
I'm pretty sure that Rodon is trying the Cole thing. Sitting 3-4 mph below his top available velocity and humping it up when he wants to finish a batter.
Cutter at the top spoiled
Fb at the top at 97.8, Walker is late and under, pops to Soto in right, who makes me nervous, but catches, 1 down

Left that Fb at 96 just below middle, hit hard past a diving Cabrera for a single to left.

FB inside, jams him, pops to Torres in short right, and he tries the risky play of letting it drop, his throw to first is not in time to get Alexander, but Suarez is caught off the bag and run-down. 2 down.

Rodon has tried two throw overs, and now he can't throw again, so Alexander has free rein to take off.
Cutter in pulled foul down the left side, 1-2.
Overthrows a FB up and away at 98.1. Fastest pitch today for Rodon, so far.
Slider down and in, just on the corner, jams him a bit, his pop to short left is handled by Volpe going back.
Again, Rodon humped up to top velocity on that 1-2 pitch.
