Stuff like this can have consequences like gas leakage when foundation rumbles. Perhaps even a milder quake to follow. Peeps should pay attention.

Wow, It just occurred? I didn't feel anything in NYC. Hope you guys are OK... About 30 minutes ago. On twitter some people in NYC were saying they felt it. Shaking tall buildings and such. Earthquake on opening day!  4.8 Magnitude earthquake. Yankee Stadium is already rocking for the Strom-Opener. |

My house was shaking, I knew that it was an earthquake right away. I think this earthquake was stronger than the one in 2011. At least that's the way it felt to me. |

Fans was interviewed at Yankees stadium. One guy from NJ who always attend the opener said his car was shaken while driving. He was hoping the game wasn't cancelled.

I've never been to the Stadium for opening day but I do usually take off to watch and always make hot dogs.
