Lots of "sick" kids home from school when World Series games were day games. i had chicken pox during the 1960 world series. great combination - the WS and ice cream. would have perfect if not for bill mazeroski. I was either just getting out of school or out on recess when I overheard Mazeroski's shot on a maintenance worker's radio. Have you gotten your shingles vaccine??? |

Just had a minor Earthquake in NY/NJ ... Not huge but biggest I've erver felt That was wild. I thought it was wind at first but my whole place was shaking. Then I checked twitter and confirmed it was an earthquake. Biggest one I've ever felt too. I felt it here in NE Jersey… Boom and the whole house was a shakin! It lasted awhile, also the strongest I’ve ever felt. |

About 30 minutes ago. On twitter some people in NYC were saying they felt it. Shaking tall buildings and such. Earthquake on opening day!  4.8 Magnitude earthquake. Yankee Stadium is already rocking for the Strom-Opener. Get ready to rumble!!! |
