Seems like a nice young lefty just coming into his own. How far would you go to get him?
I think I’d reluctantly let go of Arias, but not Jones. Add a decent pitching prospect but not Hampton, probably not Warren.
I’d also trade Warren for him and add a lesser pitching or position prospect, but not Arias. We can’t get robbed to add a pitcher with a short track record of success…

Who would you give up that would get the job done?…

Luzardo has only thrown more than 120 innings in a season one time. It's just hard to trust these pitchers.

I am not sending Jones anywhere for anyone.

I am not sending Jones anywhere for anyone. Maybe in a 30-team, 464 player trade where we get the best player from every team. Then you’d give in. 🤓…

One that should have been considered in the offseason. This team is going to score lots of runs but games similar to the one we saw last night are going to be routine by September. The Yankees need at at least two more arms I gotta believe someone in the organization has a lot more faith in the minor leage arms than we fans do.

I am not sending Jones anywhere for anyone. I agree. Many of the Marlins pitchers are hurt, Cabrera, Perez, Garrett, Alcantara. So I expect they would want a lot for Luzardo.
I wouldn't mind if the Yankees made a fair trade for the Marlins Max Meyer and or their Closer Tanner Scott. But I would want Jones included in a trade for them either. Over the long haul, if the Yankees don't view Schmidt as a starting pitcher, I rather they just promote Warren instead of making a panic trade.

Yep, I was happy that Luzardo had a bad game. Just want to add that unless the Yankees are overwhelmed be a trade offer, they shouldn't trade The Martian, Jones, Arias, Hampton, Wells, Lombard, Warren, Lalane.
I know the old saying a team has to give to get, but if the Yankees are going to re-sign Soto they are eventually going to have to rely on prospects if they want to eventually lower their L-Tax payments.
