Even though the Devils are out of the Playoff hunt will be channel surfing between games. Hoping for a big offense outpouring tonight.

Stanton has good career numbers against Gausman in the past. Not sure if that means anything now.

There has been some clamoring to move Volpe to leadoff. And, I'd like to see Gleyber hitting in the middle of the order. But...would it be wise to move Volpe now?

5, count 'em 5 LH bats in the lineup. pretty cool. and stanton not hitting cleanup. boone must be reading this forum  .
schmidt's gonna have step up against one of the best in the AL in gausman - led the AL in Ks and 3rd in the CY last season. here's his numbers against us:
soto 3-9 w 1HR 7 BB verdugo 1-14 cabrera 3-16 judge 9-31 w 3HR 6RBI 14K torres 5-19 rizzo 4-21 stanton 6-17 1HR 3 RBI 8K volpe 0-9 wells 1-6

Maybe in a month if he keeps this up. agree give him some time. fans always wanna rush things. that's not how it works. in today's game you could make a case that maybe he should hit 5th and flip him w stanton (so they could keep the L/R thing going) but let's not put too much on the kid's shoulders yet. |

My apologies for missing yesterday's game. Some things of various importance got in the way.
I'm with you tonight.
Won't be with you tomorrow because I have a baseball fantasy auction draft during the game.
Probably won't be with you at all Tuesday Monday.
Might be able to join you for Tuesday's game, at least part of it, anyway.
