Might as well be escargot. I was relieved to read that they do at least remove the tubes. They look disgusting… Exactly. What kind of person, in their right mind, would eat snails? My apologies to those who do...but c'mon. The kind that eat tentacles and cloacas…

When asked for a description of the attackers, snail couldn't provide one..."it all just happened so fast".

How about some scungilli salad ? Now, you're talking. That's an excellent summer dish served cold. Even better when it's made earlier in the day and left in the refrigerator while the garlic, oil, fresh lemon juice, and fresh parsley, marinate the scungilli.
