There's not a donut in the world I'd wait 10 minutes for... I wouldn't either. But I enjoy Krispy Kreme donuts. I read somewhere that eventually McDonalds are going to sell Krispy Kreme donuts. Krispy Kreme, begun with the recipe from a New Orleans' chef, are just too sweet for me. There was a family owned shop in Lake Charles called Nelson's Donuts that were just perfect to me. On the occasional Saturday morning, I would drive there to get a couple glazed donuts and a blueberry filled. Would love that about right now.

Do you enjoy Shake Shack? Not sure there is one near me. I don't do fast food alot. I do like Fuddruckers but not sure if that is a chain. I think Five Guys are better than In N Out, but sounds like I'm in the minority on this one. Last time I went to In N Out was after Coaching a golf event that ended late. Didn't feel like cooking. I waited over 30 minutes for my foor and the burger was average at best. The fries were ice cold and I just left them on the table. To each their own...I like the fries at Five Guys. The fries at Nathan's are my favorite. I enjoy McDonald's and Burger King, but my sentimental favorite is White Castle. Growing up I once had an eating contest with one of my friends to see who could eat the most WC Hamburgers. I knew I was going to lose. I ate 12 and barely finished the last 2. He ate 26.

Patience is not one of my virtues…I get antsy waiting a few minutes in a drive-thru line. I recall a “free sandwich” promotion a fast-food joint (I believe KFC) ran if Team A scored X runs…which it did. People waited in long lines for over an hour for a “free sandwich”. Really??? Some place in Manhattan was selling "Cronuts". The lines were over a block long. Gimme a brake. I recall that. There's something about some needing to be a part of whatever's popular at the moment. I remember guys & gals who were very much into disco suddenly showing up in places decked out in cowboy outfits and hats when that became the latest thing. Hilarious seeing a guy with a thick NY accent sportin' a 10 gallon brim.

You're missing out. No egg is a deal breaker for me. Don't worry; the egg is well-done. Yep...can't handle a runny egg. My wife likes them over-easy...makes me gag. I like my eggs over easy too. Then again I like raw little neck clams, which I know you don't eat.

I do like crab & lobster. Jim Gaffigan does a bit about being repulsed by them...says they're just giant bugs living in the ocean. When you think about it...

I like crab and lobster too. My Godfather used to make an excellent gravy(sauce) using fresh crabs.

That’s what I truly don’t like…

Squid 🦑 is okay ish, but a bit rubbery. I love Orange roughy but it’s been over fished and is full of mercury… I never go to Octopus-R-US 🐙 with Kaybli…

Most fish is good...as long as it's cooked "right". I remember when Louisiana chef Paul Prudhomme was pushing "blackened" fish, which sounded great to me. Unfortunately, I didn't pay close attention to cooking instructions and 1st tried it in my kitchen. Did not go well... No way I'd ever try squid or octopus...don't care how it is cooked. Well, maybe if it was battered and deep-fried...like Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Well, maybe if it was battered and deep-fried...like Rocky Mountain Oysters. That’s how I had the squid, calamari. Tastes much like shrimp, but almost feels like you could blow bubbles with it, very chewy. In my final assessment I figured, just get the shrimp… RMO’s are not something I want to sample. I saw a guy that makes travel videos (Nick Johnson) ordered them when he came out to Colorado. If I recall he liked them. He can have them. They showed them in his plate. They were not visually appealing…
