I'm a snowbird living in South America during the baseball season. How the heck can I watch the games on TV? YES only works in the US (VPNs don't work, at least for me). MLB.TV blocks most of the games. Am I relegated to settling for the few games that are shown elsewhere? or am I missing something? Fyi, with a VPN I have no problem accessing most US TV - except YES, sigh.

If you have an Amazon Prime account, there will be 21 Yankees games streaming exclusively on Prime Video during the 2024 season. Numbers of games are also streamed on Apple TV and a few on Peacock.

Thanks for the suggestions but streameast is blocked for me just like YES is blocked. It all seems so silly, especially considering that I'm willing to pay the high price for YES. Then again, sleuthing around the Internet is not an area of expertise so I'm open for suggestions. Otherwise, I'm relegated to the handful of games on ESPN, Prime or network TV.

If you have someone in the area watching the game you could use a remote desktop app to access the stream. Broadcasters are using lots of techniques to discern and block VPNs these days. |

The YES software filters me out indicating that my request is coming from Latin America despite trying 2 VPNs and 2 US locations, NY and Miami. |

Try going there with a VPN with a location set to NY.
