Judge... Works the count to 2-1 Then chases a slider breaking just outside, 2-2 Sinker was supposed to be inside, but he misses almost down the middle. Judge stares at it for strike 3. Inning over.
10 pitch 1-2-3 for Bassitt in the 1st. Bottom 1, 0-0.

Shout out to Kwik today for the job you do with the play by play. It’s easy to take you for granted, and I don’t want you to Feel that you are. I know I couldn’t do it. In fact, for many years when I first started posting in the Pinstripes Plus forums I refused to post in game threads because I thought it would hurt my focus on the game. It does a bit, but not as bad as I expected it would…

Springer leads off for the Jays... Starts with a pitch clock violation for ball 1. Then misses high, misses outside, then misses high for ball 4.
Bad start, four pitch walk, and here comes Guerero.

Falls behind Guerrero 2-1, but blows the FB by him above the zone, 2-2. FB a bit lower, and Guerrero fouls it off. FB high, and it's 3-2. FB outside, ball 4. 2nd walk in a row puts Gil in serious trouble in the first, and that puts the Yanks behind the 8-ball, because they don't hit Bassitt at all.

Gets a change to drop into the outside corner, 1-1 on Bichette. Gil misses outside with a FB. He's throwing almost all FB so far, and missing the zone with most of them Change tails back to the corner for strike 2.
15 pitches for Gil already with nobody out in the 1st.
FB just outside, topped to Volpe, they get the force at 2nd, and Gleyber makes a good relay, he shouldn't have bothered with it because there was no chance to double up Bichette.
1st and 3rd, 1 out for Turner, who's been red hot lately
