His weakness with the Yanks stays with him in Toronto, Falefa chases a 98 FB well high for the K.

Torres properly credited with the error on Trevino's throw now.
Garcia makes a mistake but Soto misses the hanging slider waist high, inner half, and he pops it up, yells a loud "NOOOOOO!!!" and fires the bat down in disgust as Varsho catches in short right center, 1 down.

Quickly 0-2 on Judge, barely checks in time on a slider diving well outside, 1-2.
Great sinker would've K'd just but he left it near middle where Judge could get a piece of it, fouls it off.
Slider in the zone low/away, and Judge is late and under again, pops to Guerrero for out #2.
Stanton shouldn't have a chance against Garcia, but this is baseball, and weird things happen from time to time.

Stanton takes a ball, then misses a FB just above and inside middle middle, pops it high on the infield, and when it comes down, Stanton's out. Bichette catches, inning over.
Bottom 8, 5-3 Jays.
Despite Ferguson, Burdi and Hamilton, the good part of the Jays pen seems considerably stronger than the Yanks' pen, now that Swanson and Romano are back.
Varsho, Springer and Guerrero vs. someone other than Burdi in the 8th for the Jays.

No-chance slider taken, 2-2
Big breaking slider to the inside corner popped foul and out of play. Trevino raced back as if he had a play, but it wasn't close.
FB away, Varsho goes with it hard, Gonzalez flips his hands up as if to say, "dammit", but Verdugo gets the jump and runs it down on the track, 1 down.
Gonzalez got away with one there.

Romano warming, Yanks usually don't hit him at all.
Slider down, 2-2
Nifty change, but Springer is niftier, manages to get a piece and spoil.
Slider down and in, and Springer gets good wood on it, but It stays up for Judge, who catches in left center, 2 down.

1st pitch sinker is low to Guerrero, the ump says strike 1. Vlad, Jr. did not like that call.
Back leg slider taken, 1-1
Yanks the sinker low, 2-1
3-1 now.
Sinker outside, Vlad chases and fouls it off, 3-2.
Sinker misses down and in, ball 4. Bichette up with man on 1st, 2 down.
