Amazing that Sac Flies are awarded on foul outs…

Yanks the slider/change way low/away ball 4. Bichette also hits Hamilton hard, 3 for 5, 2 RBI and a BB.
Slider change is a strike, but wiped out by a pitch clock violation, 0-1 becomes 1-0. Takes two strikes, then pops a slider low down the line in right, Soto catches in foul ground, a questionable play, because Kiermaier scores easily, 2 down, Jays up 4-1 now. I suppose already down by 2 you have to catch that one to keep the game from getting totally out of control.
1-2 on Turner who's 2-2 vs. Hamilton.

2-2 as he spoils one and takes one. Swings over a good slider/change going low in the zone for the K. Inning over. Jays add 2, take what seems like an insurmoutable lead, 4-2 going top 8.

Top of the order for the Yanks in the 8th: Volpe, Soto and Judge. Volpe 1-11 in this series, 4 K's
Cabrera stays in, probably through Soto.

Fouls off the low curve, 1-2 on Volpe, who's 1-3 against Cabrera. Now 1-4 as he gets jammed on a FB up and pops to Varsho in left center, 1 down.

Curve way inside spins Soto around. Soto 1 for 3 vs. Cabrera with a double, 2 RBI, 1 K 1 BB and 2 sac flies. Looks bad on two sliders, 1-2 Takes a cutter low, 2-2. Cabrera angry for missing so low.

FB down the middle, and Soto belts a high fly to right that carries well out for a solo HR.
Score is now Jays 4, Soto 2.
Judge up.

Soto's 4th HR: 98.6 mph, 381 feet, 31º launch angle , a HR in 27 of 30 parks. Judge gets a terrible call on a 1st pitch curve 3-4 inches outside, falls behind 0-2, then whiffs on cutter on the back leg. 2 down Rizzo is 0-5 with a K vs. Cabrera, falls behind quickly, 0-2.

1-2 cutter below the knees in the middle, bounced foul. Blows the FB by him waist high, outside corner, Swung under, K, inning over.
Bottom 8, 4-2 Jays. You know Soto might not leave the Yanks at the end of the year because of not enough money/years. It might be because he doesn't want to be saddled with a declining team in a very tough division in which the O's like like they'll dominate the way the Astros did the West for the last 7 years.
