Springer swings at a sinker away and misses.
Slurve way way outside, 1-1
Swings over a splitter, 1-2
No chance slider well low/away, taken, 2-2
No chance FB about a foot outside, easy take, 3-2
Slurve stays in the zone, but has sharp break, and Springer tops it into the 56 hole, Volpe moves quickly, backhands, sets and throws out Springer, 2 down. Fine play by Volpe, and not an easy one.

You can say that he gave up the hit to Kiermaier, but that's not quite right...Torres gave it up.
