Then takes a cutter waist high outer 3rd, 0-2
Slider outside, 1-2
Sinker was supposed to be outside, but Schmidt misses on the corner away, and Arozarena grounds it between Volpe and Torres for a 1 out single.

Knuckle curve on the back leg hits his foot, HBP, 1st and 2nd, 1 out
Schmidt has gotten ahead of all 3 hitters 0-2, but two of them have gotten on base anyway.
Same old, same old.
Gets ahead of Paredes 0-2 as well with a slider and curve in the zone low, away.

Soto's ABs are must see TV. I may be multitasking during other parts of the game, but I always drop everything and focus when he's up to bat.
Walnut glazed shrimp, steamed dumplings, shrimp in garlic sauce, steamed rice. I am having withdrawals from not enjoying crawfish season yet, so I am supplementing my DTs with shrimp! Sounds delicious! |
