Judge gets a thigh cutter near the outside corner, foul tips it into the mitt, 0-1
Lays off the curve low/away, Judge checks well in time, 1-1
Swings over the sinker diving down and in out of the zone. Volpe couldn't handle it either.
Swings over a sharp slider going out of the zone outside, thigh high, K.
Hat trick for Judge. 6 K's now for Eflin.
As I said yesterday, Soto might not leave the Yanks because of money/years. He might leave them because the rest of the team isn't good enough in a very tough division that the O's might dominate for the next 3-4 years.

Cutter low to Siri, who has holes, as I said before, but also big-time power.
Takes a 91 Fb almost down the middle, 1-1
Cutter into the top at 86, fouled back.
Nestor velocity sitting 1-2 mph lower now on all pitches. Hope he can still hump up with 2 strikes.

FB to the outside corner probably missed, but Wells/Nestor gets the call and steals the ꓘ.
Caballero stared at that one, and he was probably right.

Siri takes his time out late.

FB at the knees inside corner at 94, hits the edge of the zone, both Wells and Cortes think it's strike 3, but the ump doesn't.
And the missed strike 3 call nearly costs the Yanks, as Siri catches a fat cutter just inside middle at 89, and hits a deep fly to left, but Verdugo goes back to the track and catches it a step or two from the wall.
That's gotta be it for Nestor for today. 16 pitch 1-2-3 leaves him at 102 pitches total

Poche struggling a bit so far this year, 7 1/3 innings, 8 hits, 4 runs all earned, 3 BB and 6 K, but he does have two saves and 1 blown saves
Poche is a two spin lefty, a high spin deceptive FB at 91 he throws about 3/4 of the time, and a slider 83 the rest of the time.
