As for the NFL Draft, have the Giants screwed up their pick yet? I think the Giants made a good pick. Jones will finally have a playmaker to throw to. Two picks from getting Harrison, Jr., I see. Thanks for not dumping once the season got away from you early, Giants. From what little I've read, Nabers is supposed to be almost as good. Maybe it'll work out. 1-2 on Noda, pulled foul. |

The Jets are now on the clock. I'd have to say maybe Murphy, maybe Fashanu. I guess they'll wait until next year for a QB.

Weird play. Grounder up the middle right to Volpe in back of 2nd, should be an easy 6-6-3 DP, but it hits the front right side of the bag, kicks to the right, but goes right to Torres, who flips back to Volpe covering 2nd. Yanks get a force instead of two.
Bleday up, 1-1 count.

Slider misses was low/away, 2-2.

The Jets take Fashanu at #11. That is a sensible pick, although I think I'd have gone for a QB to work under Rodgers this year.

Gets a sinker down the middle, tops it down first right to Rizzo, he steps on 1st, wheels and fires to Volpe to double up Langeliers for the 3-3-6 DP to end the inning.
Bottom 9, 3-1 A's. Cabrera, Volpe and Soto for the Yanks vs. Miller.
